mic_phone is a foldable phone for FiveM. It opens as a phone and unfolds into a tablet, it carries onto a player's real phone through their browser, and it fetches its own HTTPS certificate, so it can be installed, ring and record without anybody putting a second program in front of your server.
Works with ESX, QBCore, QBox or fmLib — detected on its own. No SQL file to import, no build step, no npm.
Mic Phone: Features
It folds
A phone in one hand, a tablet in two, with a prop in the player's hand that folds with it — the hinge turns, the grip changes, and every stock cellphone animation still works.
On a real phone
A six-digit code in Settings links a browser. Messages, the wallet, photos, calls — on a player's own phone with the game closed. The certificate for it is fetched automatically.
31 apps
Calls, messages, camera, photos, mail, wallet, bills, marketplace, services, city ID, properties, garage, radio, music, darknet, news, the boss menu, a crypto market and four social networks. Each one can be installed, sold in the App Store or switched off.
Four social networks
Instapic, Twixel, Klipz and Flinder — accounts of their own, with handles, passwords and a verified tick the city hands out.
A market that moves on its own
Six coins with prices that live on the server, a chart, a commission and transfers between phones. The untraceable half of a city's economy.
Coverage that means something
Off until you ask for it. Switched on, the bars are worked out on the server from where somebody is standing — masts, dead zones, a jammer another script can flick — and no signal means the city cannot reach that phone at all.
It can come from your old phone
lb-phone, Quasar, NPWD or qb-phone: numbers, contacts, conversations with their unread counts, photos, mail, listings and @handles read straight across, with a rehearsal first and nothing written outside our own tables. See Coming from another phone.
Phones as items
Optional. Switch it on and a phone is the item: a fresh one is a new number, and one that changes hands takes everything on it with it — including fourteen colours of case that are items too.
